Best books for clearing quant

IBPS PO CALENDAR is released. Within fewmonths we have to cover all the syllabus

I have cleared IBPS exam and i am working as assistant manager in Canara bank now . so i think i am the one who can tell you which books are best for quantitative aptitude.

Two things are important while choosing books

1. learning basics of a topic and mastering shortcuts is important

QUICKER MATHS BY TYRA comes into this category. It has all the basics thoroughly covered and the best part is all the shortcuts are also given

2. Practice questions and Repeated questions

vast number of practice questions are covered in this book by adda247

Frequently repeated questions are also provided

save time and score more with this smart trick IBPS RRB 2019

To save time and score more , there is a smart trick

When you go to examination hall, few minutes before the exam, rough papers are given t you to solve the problems.

Just before the exam, please write all the below given things on the paper, which will save your time

Write squares from 1 to 20

Write cubes from 1 to 10

draw the below things( and their purpose is also given)

Strategy to score high in Quant IBPS RRB PRELIMS 2019

The order in which you attempt questions is very important

Always attempt the easiest questions first

Here i divided all types of questions into 5 sets

Attempt in the same order

First attempt set 1 . you can score full marks in that.

Coming to set 2, if you are perfect with basics, you can easily solve all the problems

Even if some questions are difficult, choose the easiest of them and solve them

Then set

either 2 or 3 DI questions will be given, of which one DI will be easy.

First just go through the DI questions, and choose the easiest one attempt it first, then go to next

Then set 4

Now its all about how well you practiced these topics, choose those topics which you feel easy and solve them. And leave the other topics

Finally set 5

i feel guessing pattern of number series is unpredictable. So its upto you and the time left with you.

And even after trying when you cant predict the pattern, you simply waste your time

Try to attempt more than 30

Strategy to score high in REASONING IBPS RRB PRELIMS 2019

Strategy is very important during exam

The order in which you attempt questions is very important

Always attempt the easiest questions first

Attempt the questions of set-1 topic in the order given in the exam

you can easily score 15 to 20 marks

Coming to set-2

Then come to puzzles, attempt the puzzles in the order given above.

if you practiced very well, you can easily solve linear, box, floor based puzzles

And finally you may not have time for seating arrangement

you can score 15 to 20 marks

Try hard to attempt atleast 30 questions, with 100 % perfection
