Simplification Problems with percentages

Here we discuss percentages only required for simplification problems,

Percentages topic in detail will be discussed separately according to studyplan

Percentage Formula:

Example: what is 85 % of 680?

Trick 1 : Learning percentage to fraction conversion, helps you solve simplifications quickly

Some fractions are asked frequently, they are given below, learn them and remember them

½     = 50%

\frac{1}{3} = 33\,\frac{1}{3}\%

\frac{2}{3} = 66\,\frac{2}{3}\%

\frac{1}{4} = 25\%

\frac{3}{4} = 75\%

\frac{1}{5} = 20\%

\frac{2}{5} = 40\%

\frac{3}{5} = 60\%

\frac{4}{5} = 80\%

\frac{1}{6} = 16\,\frac{2}{3}\%

\frac{5}{6} = 83\,\frac{1}{3}\%

\frac{1}{7} = 14\,\frac{2}{7}\%

\frac{2}{7} = 28\,\frac{4}{7}\%

\frac{3}{7} = 42\,\frac{6}{7}\%

\frac{4}{7} = 57\,\frac{1}{7}\%

\frac{5}{7} = 71\,\frac{3}{7}\%

\frac{6}{7} = 85\,\frac{5}{7}\%

\frac{1}{8} = 12\,\frac{1}{2}\%

\frac{3}{8} = 37\,\frac{1}{2}\%

\frac{5}{8} = 62\,\frac{1}{2}\%

\frac{7}{8} = 87\,\frac{1}{2}\%

\frac{1}{9} = 11\,\frac{1}{9}\%

\frac{2}{9} = 22\,\frac{2}{9}\%

\frac{4}{9} = 44\,\frac{4}{9}\%

\frac{5}{9} = 55\,\frac{5}{9}\%

\frac{7}{9} = 77\,\frac{7}{9}\%

\frac{8}{9} = 88\,\frac{8}{9}\%

\frac{1}{10} = 10\%

\frac{3}{10} = 30\%

\frac{7}{10} = 70\%

\frac{9}{10} = 90\%

\frac{1}{11} = 9\,\frac{1}{11}\%

\frac{2}{11} = 18\,\frac{2}{11}\%

\frac{3}{11} = 27\,\frac{3}{11}\%

\frac{4}{11} = 36\,\frac{4}{11}\%

\frac{1}{12} = 8\,\frac{1}{3}\%
